Rose Cecelia Carron, nee Capell, of Millstadt, Illinois entered eternal rest on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, Illinois, having attained the age of 96 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Born on October 8, 1917 in East St. Louis, Illinois, she was the daughter of Theodore and Ann Capell, nee Ficker. She was united in marriage to Theodore Carron on August 21, 1937 and he preceded her in death on June 6, 1977.

Rose was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt, Illinois, a meat cutter for Hunter Packing Company for 20 years and the owner of the Village Inn Restaurant in Millstadt.

Preceding her in death besides her husband, Theodore Carron, were her parents, her sister, Ann Mose and her brothers, Theodore Capell, Henry Capell, John Capell, Robert Capell and Joe Capell.

Surviving are her brother-in-law, Chris Carron; her sister-in-law, Margaret Capell of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nieces, nephews, special friends, Edna Kalbfleisch of Millstadt, Illinois, Delores Wienhoff of Millstadt, Illinois and Ann Creason of Millstadt, Illinois and many other friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M. at the Creason Funeral Home in Millstadt, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice and will be received at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 15, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. with Monsignor Marvin Volk officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, Illinois.
